Where do you work?  What are your hours?

Sedale: I work at McDonalds in East Camden.  My hours are 10pm-6am, at least 5 days a week.

Mercedes: I work at K-Mart in Brooklawn.  My hours are 4pm-10pm, at least 5 days a week.

What is the motivation for you to dedication to such demanding commitments?

S: I want to be successful in the future.  I also want to set a good example for the people who look up to me, including my little brothers.  Plus I enjoy the money.

M: My energy and personality keep me going in the future.  I also know where I want to be in the future and how much work it is going to take to get there.

What have you learned about life and yourselves through such a demanding schedule?

S: I have learned that life takes patience and determination.  I will never give up and always keep moving forward.

M: Obtaining your goals and dreams is difficult.

In moments of exhaustion, what is your inspiration for continuing? 

S: My successful future and family.

M: My future.

What are your goals?

S: I will own my own property, be successful, and be able to take care of myself and my family.

M: I want to become a famous fashion model and own my own clothing line.

What do you have going on in your life in addition to your job and Hopeworks?

S: Spending time with my little brothers and the rest of my family.

M: I recently went to NYC and signed a modeling contract with One Source Talent.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

S: I will have built my own house from the ground up and I will own real estate in New Jersey and Seattle.

M: I see myself in a big mansion, driving a 2009 Escalade, and working as a famous fashion model traveling all over the world.
