 On May 17, 2008, Mario Arriola and Endrix Afanador graduated from Camden County College. The ceremony was held at the Blackwood campus. Mario and Endrix both graduated with an associates degree in Business Administration. Here is what Mario had to say about the experience:
What does commencement mean to me? It means the end of one chapter and the start of something new, a time that two and a half years ago seemed so distant and full of challenges. Now I have completed 50 college credit hours that I paid for by myself. Walking across the stage and hearing my name announced was a dream come true. Not only was it a dream come true for me, but for the most important woman in my life, my mother. Seeing her eyes full of tears made me feel accomplished and proud. However, graduating from Camden County College is just the beginning for me. The next phase of my life begins now, as I look forward to entering Le Moyne College to pursue my dreams. |
