The jobs just keep rolling in! GIS Team member Thalia recently started a teaching position at Respond, Inc. in Camden, NJ. Respond, Inc. is a charitable organization created by community residents to enhance and promote the economic independence and general welfare of individuals and families residing in Camden City and county.
Before joining Hopeworks, Thalia was a Dietary Aid at Lutheran Crossing until May 2021. From there, she successfully completed the Hopeworks training along with her 6-month GIS internship. During this time, she worked directly with clients like Virginia American Water collecting, processing, and analyzing data.
Thalia says “colleagues and supervisors have always described me as being empathetic, compassionate and maintaining excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills”.
