As we near the end of our fiscal year and move into summer, the full-time jobs for Hopeworks young professionals are pouring in! Just last week, we had Yang - a developer on our web team and Luca - a GIS team intern, accept full-time jobs at NFI Industries and Philadelphia Youth Network.
Yang will be joining NFI as an Invoicing Clerk. He will not only bring his technical skills to the table, but he will also showcase the soft skills he gained from Hopeworks.
“Being at Hopeworks has helped to transform and prepare me for the workforce in many ways. From learning to get up early and set a morning routine, to the career wardrobe helping me learn about professional dress - Hopeworks has prepared me for the job setting.”
Luca joined Hopeworks last December, and has been engaged with the training and shown exceptional leadership skills throughout his time here. His time and experience in the GIS department will aid directly in his new role as a Quality Assurance Assistant at PYN!
We wish the best to Luca and Yang and are excited to see where their careers take them in the future.
