Hopeworks is proud to announce that GIS intern Leea Kelly has accepted a position at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission as a GIS Analyst! In this position, Leea will provide data, analytic, and cartographic support to DVRPC’s staff, member governments, and the public, working on projects including transportation, land use, the environment, economic development, and equity.
Of course, for the team at Hopeworks who has seen Leea in action, the appointment comes as no surprise. As Leea’s supervisor, Luis Olivieri shared, “I am happy for Leea, but also so sad to see Leea go. Leea has been a fantastic part of the GIS Team, a lead on multiple projects, and is someone we can always count on.”
For Leea, this new opportunity promises to open brand new doors! As Leea shared, "This opportunity is better than I even dreamed when I first started Hopeworks, and it is going to allow me to do things I never thought were within reach for myself. It still doesn't feel real!"
