High Praise for our Web Design Business

Because there is always so much to share about our youth at Hopeworks, it is easy to forget to highlight our three thriving businesses that provide nearly ⅓ of the revenue to fund all of Hopeworks’ good work. When our trainees finish their training, we hire many of them on as Hopeworks interns in either our Web Design team, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department, or with our Youth Healing Team providing trauma training. These successful businesses provide our youth with the professional experience they need in order to start their careers; they make Hopeworks more financially sustainable; and they serve the needs of many clients in Camden and beyond.

The web team creates websites for businesses of all sizes. One of the websites our Web team recently completed was for Camden Lutheran Housing Inc., an initiative right here in Camden working to buy and restore old houses to make them livable and affordable for the Camden community. Their work is very important to Camden as their goal is to provide housing for low to mid-income residents. The Web Design team created their site with the goal of making it simple and user-friendly, yet informative. They were very satisfied with their website, as it served their needs as well as their clients. Check out the website here at www.clhi.org !

When asked about her experience with Hopeworks, Jessica Franzini, the Associate Director of Community Initiatives at CLHI said, “Thank you to HopeWorks for being so professional and enjoyable to work with - we're proud that our website provided an educational opportunity to Camden youth while helping us better represent our mission, services, and programs in an online format. We highly recommend the Web Development Team at Hopeworks to anyone looking for a new website!"
