Anfernee Taylor Starts Internship with Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority!

We’re excited for Anfernee as he starts his IT internship at Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority(CCMUA)! And, we’re happy to resume our partnership with CCMUA with this internship.

Anfernee started training at Hopeworks in November of 2017, and his favorite thing about Hopeworks was “the atmosphere, the people, and the comfortable workplace environment.” Anfernee’s strength is problem-solving, and when asked about his future career, he says, “I plan on being an entrepreneur, managing my own company, making smart investments, and hopefully making my way into media, movies, and music.”

As the CCMUA IT intern, Anfernee loves the variety of work he encounters. He says that Hopeworks prepared him well, and that “through the experience of working with computers and technology, such as graphic design and building websites, Hopeworks taught me practical skills for my internship.” He’s most excited about “going around to all different departments and solving unique problems.”

Although Anfernee isn’t spending as much time at Hopeworks these days, we look forward to staying connected with him as an Alumni of Hopeworks, and he is excited to have an opportunity to stay involved with us! Anfernee says, “The most important thing I learned at Hopeworks, besides the skills, was that an organization like Hopeworks, with care and support for and from the community, can prosper and make a difference in this society.”
