Will Schrieks is Diocese of Camden's Full-Time Web Designer!

Hopeworks’ Alum and CRIB resident, Will Schrieks, is now a full-time Web Designer! He started the new position at the Diocese of Camden and is “responsible for the creation and maintenance of 27 websites and other online assets, managing the relationship with online vendors, as well as serving as IT technician for simple issues at the IT Help Desk.” He is really enjoying his work so far, and says the job has already served as an “effective learning experience showcasing perseverance, ingenuity, and problem solving.”

Will first came to Hopeworks with an interest and background in graphic design. He completed the training, and became a web design intern. After his web design internship, Will moved to the communications team and completed the graphic design internship. When asked about how Hopeworks helped to prepare him for his current position, Will said, “Hopeworks helped me shed my naive and childish mentality and helped to mold my professionalism to succeed in a business environment.” Will also said that “being surrounded by Hopeworks’ combined support system of staff and young, ambitious dreamchasers, was essential to my development.”

Will’s dream is to challenge himself and take his “design skills to the next level and become an industrial designer, with the ability to create and design any product.”

We’re so excited and proud to watch and support Will as he begins his design career. Congratulations, we know you’ll do great things!
