John Teesdale Earns Internship at Being Design!

John Teesdale, former Hopeworks intern in our Web Department, has landed an internship at Being Design Inc., a design firm in Philadelphia! His role there is a Web Design Intern and he is most excited about “getting the chance to learn and work under an experienced Web Designer who has already established his own successful design business.” As John’s long-term goal is to successfully work in the graphic design field, this internship is a fantastic opportunity for him.

When asked about his experience at Hopeworks, John says, “Hopeworks helped my professional development in that it gave me the opportunity to get the feel of working in a web design firm, but still gave me the ability to make mistakes and really learn how the business works.” We’re very confident that John will excel in this new opportunity at Being Design.

John says that he plans on staying very connected with Hopeworks, “especially with Web Director Billimarie Lubiano-Robinson, as well as all of the other Web Department interns.” John described his time at Hopeworks as different than other schools or trainings. He said, “Hopeworks was unique in that I felt completely supported in every way I needed to be able to achieve my goals.”
