Although we are no longer directly located in North Camden, we still are very much connected to State Street through our CRIB and our Esperanza Community Garden!
The Garden has had a very busy season. There was a fun Halloween celebration for the community in late October, which included a candy hunt for the kids around the garden, and ended with a spooky piñata! On election day, CRIB Manager Nicole Olivieri and DeSales Volunteer Alec Cassel put together a Chipotle fundraiser which had an amazing turnout and helped raise funds for the Garden!
The CRIB has also had a busy few months. We’ve had a few new residents move in, and several CRIB celebrations including a “Onesie” party and a Bonfire for the residents just before the snow hit.
We are so grateful to still have such strong roots in our old neighborhood of North Camden!
