Medical Assistants Finish Classes with a 100% Pass Rate!

This year’s cohort of Medical Assistants finished their academic classes this month and entered their internships with a 100% pass rate!

The Medical Assistant training program -- a unique partnership between Hopeworks, Rutgers-Rowan Board of Governors, Camden County, and Camden County College -- trains Camden youth in professionalism and the skills they need to become Medical Assistants in the city’s  growing medical industry.

After months of rigorous preparations, this year’s group of medical assistants is ready to begin their internships, the final stage before earning jobs in Camden hospitals.  To get to this point, students had to complete a daunting series of classes in medical terminology, procedures, and best practices, making sure that they are ready to provide excellent care to patients across Camden!

All of Hopeworks is excited to watch this next generation of Hopeworks young people begin their career journey right here in Camden!
