CAMDEN, NJ – Thousands celebrated the unofficial start of summer by spending Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend attending Camden Night Gardens at Cooper’s Poynt Park.
The event transformed Cooper’s Poynt Park into a carnival-like atmosphere, with rides and games and food trucks serving sausage sandwiches and popcorn and newer options like acai bowls and smoothies.
Less than one hour into the event, many of these activities had lines that were 50 people deep or more.
