Edwin Ready To Take On Huge Opportunity With Holman 2

Congratulations to our very own Edwin Llabreras who has just been hired full-time by Holman as a Service Coordinator. Edwin was introduced to Hopeworks in his senior year of high school through our dual enrollment program.

He went to school for 2 days a week while being at Hopeworks for the other 3 days, so balancing the work and school schedule was a bit rough. Edwin pointed out that he had a ton of support here which made it easier.

Edwin says Hopeworks has taught him a multitude of things - including how to prepare for interviews, the importance of professionalism and how to better interact with people. This skill is important because in the past Edwin struggled with interacting and talking to people in the business world.

Honestly, the switch has been very different, but I’m extremely excited to see where the future takes me, and this is the first step into pursuing a career in the future. My hope with this job is to do things I enjoy and continue to find my passion.”

Congratulations, Edwin!
