Insurance Company CHUBB Welcomes Dayana and Caleb!

Building new partnerships with community and employment partners is a crucial part of the work we do and every partner matters! Dayana and Caleb are two talented and creative interns who will be joining the Chubb team through a customized technology role.

Dayana has previous experience working in the restaurant business, concert venues, and other industries unrelated to tech. Caleb, an aspiring software developer was pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, but had very little work experience when he joined Hopeworks and was struggling financially.

Me and my family were going through a really rough time financially. My mom and I were, and still are, doing everything we can raise my little brothers. I needed to find a way to build up enough experience and skills to help me do well in a stable job, so I could continue to provide for my family.” - Caleb

Two individuals from different backgrounds and walks of life, both with the same mission - to discover their path and purpose while pursing a fulfilling career. Regardless of how you walk in the door, our goal is to make sure you walk out improved in every way.

I think the most important thing I’ve learned here is the power of connection, community, and empathy. Every idea and/or action comes from an outside influence. I think that sharing in every sense of the word is vital; no one grows in a vacuum.” - Dayana
