Hopeworks Business Highlight: Web Team Launches BuyCamden1st Website for Local Business Promotion!

This month’s business highlight features a very special website project completed and launched recently by our Web Team. Not only does this project offer a way to showcase local Camden businesses in all industries, but it also pours into our community by employing our young adults!

Hopeworks’ Web Team has launched the BuyCamden1st website—your new go-to for supporting Camden’s best businesses! Since July, the City of Camden has created a plan to increase local sourcing and spending. The website and database will be used to help identify a listing of Camden-based businesses. Besides promoting purchases from Camden-based businesses, the initiative will “also serve as a catalyst for job creation, small business expansion and new business startups in the city.”

Check out the BuyCamden1st website here and please refer family, friends, and business owners to register their business as well. If you are a nonprofit organization, small or large sized business, and ready to bring your website vision to life? Contact dankrause@hopeworks.org to get started!
