Lenfest and Philly Media Support Work of Emerging Local Nonprofits

The Lenfest Institute of Journalism has become a catalyst for change and innovation in Philadelphia’s media ecosystem. With the holidays approaching, a new initiative might become a game-changer for nonprofits in the Delaware Valley.

The Philadelphia Foundation, in partnership with the Lenfest Institute for Journalism and supported by a grant from the William Penn Foundation, launched Monday the Philly Gives campaign, a new philanthropic initiative.

The Philadelphia Foundation and William Penn Foundation provided seed money for the fundraising, giving folks an opportunity to learn more about these organizations and support their work. The nonprofits will receive 100% of the direct donations.
