Patrice Brings Her Skills to Benefits Data Trust

Early in the pandemic we reported that Patrice Ingram had moved into an internship at North10.  Patrice had come to Hopeworks to obtain technology skills that would complement her degree in Psychology and improve her career options. Now we are excited to share that Patrice has started a full time, permanent position with Benefits Data Trust as a Benefits Outreach Specialist!

Patrice brings the exact skill set needed to be successful in this role where she will provide public benefits education and online application assistance to low-income individuals.  Patrice will assist individuals in overcoming the primary barriers to participation in public assistance programs through education, helping to reduce their fear of stigma, helping them navigate the online application process, and facilitating communication between all parties.

Back in May, Patrice shared that, “Being a part of the Hopeworks family is rewarding and fulfilling. I am so fortunate to have such an amazing organization that is Hopeworks as support. I am excited to see what my future holds in store!”

Now we know, her future includes being a problem solver and helping others in the community!
