La’Shay is one of the many young professionals who has found a way to overcome obstacles in her life, and continue to make herself, her family and the Hopeworks team tremendously proud.
Not only did she manage to complete her Adult Basic Skills requirements and receive her high school diploma this year, she was also offered a full-time job with Cooper Hospital! La’Shay previously working at McDonalds before finding Hopeworks. She then joined us as a trainee, transitioning to a GIS Team intern under the direction and support of Career Readiness Coach, Jagkirpal, and other staff.
Jagkirpal has consistently boasted about how proud he is to have worked with La’Shay and have supported her up until this point.
