Darius Reaches A Turning Point in his Hopeworks Journey

Darius joined Hopeworks only 4 months ago with his sights set on beginning a career in social work with children. A student at South Philadelphia High School, he successfully balances his time between school, Hopeworks training, family, friends, etc while keeping a smile on his face. Darius is a hard worker, visual learner, and loves helping others.

“I initially joined Hopeworks to gain some assistance with my dream of starting a career working with kids. The biggest thing that I have learned during my time here is you can do anything with hard work, a great support system, and dedication.”

Turning Points For Children is an organization that helps to build stronger families and brighter futures. Their work is built on the foundations of wellness, safety, diversity, and collaboration, while they strive to bring social and health services to vulnerable people. Darius will be starting his new position as a Parent Mentor/Advocate with TPFC very soon.
